The Tipping Point of Clutter
declutter all clutter:
jumbled thinking
rumpled spaces
discord, disorder
figuratively,
literally
for what’s trivial
and what’s important
are what you extract
of your surroundings
if something unscrambles
knots within you
fixes your mood,
tidies perspective
if it sends your heart aflutter
curls up your lips,
delights your senses
amplifies and
gladdens moments
that is not clutter

Decipher the tipping point:
What’s
trivial and
what’s important is
whatever value you
ascribe objects to be.
Declutter your life by being
selective about the things you
surround yourself with:
how the trivial becomes “the important”
and vice versa is determined by the
amount of attention or inattention
you give to things and situations.
And each person’s capacity to
derive importance from them
translates to gratifying links
that matter to that individual.
If something holds value,
even figuratively, you need it.
Treasure it for that’s not clutter.
